The Bay of Santa Giulia

Or paradise on earth…it’s one of the most beautiful beaches in Corsica.
A lagoon with turquoise waters bathing at the foot of a mountain, stretching across miles of fine white sand.

Palombaggia beach

This pure marvel is renowned for its white sandbanks framed by red rocks, lined with umbrella pines and junipers, and located opposite the Cerbicales Islands. Its five barren islands, popular with birds and often buffeted by the wind, are classified as a nature reserve.

Rondinara Bay

Located halfway between Porto-Vecchio and Bonifacio, Rondinara Bay is shaped like a shell.
It boasts fine, clear sand, pristine, crystal-clear water, and a pristine environment.

Roccapina Beach

The wild beach and the lion of Roccapina is a small natural wonder located halfway between Bonifacio and Sartène.
Sea spray, wind, and rain have shaped the pink granite, creating a monumental work of art depicting a lion lying down facing the Mediterranean.
This granite beast is said to be the guardian of the Genoese tower of Roccapina.

Cala Rossa beach

North of Porto-Vecchio, the bay of Cala Rossa presents a surprising gradient of green and blue.

Saint-Cyprien beach

This small bay contains a magnificent beach bordered by the Arasu pond.
A Genoese tower dominates this site, and numerous remains have been discovered near the mouth of the Osu River.
Saint Cyprien Beach offers a veritable palette of colors: white sand, turquoise water, and red rock.

Pinarello Beach

In Sainte Lucie de Porto-Vecchio, the Gulf of Pinarello is home to long white sand beaches bordered by lush pine forests.
Its small harbor, enlivened by glaciers, welcomes boaters who come to stopover and breathe in the gentle pace of life.
The islet of Ruscana boasts a tower that, in the 16th century, housed a Genoese garrison.

Fautea Beach

Fautea beach is a magnificent little cove of fine, absolutely white sand dominated by its Genoese tower.

Little Sperone beach

A must-see gem in Bonifacio! A beach with incredibly fine, luminous white sand and crystal-clear water.

ALTA ROCCA (the hinterland)

Corsica is renowned for its mountains and magnificent sites, offering a wide variety of landscapes. The Corsican mountains offer vast forests, valleys, torrents, and waterfalls. With world-renowned hiking trails, lakes, and pozzi, there’s plenty to discover in the heart of Alta Rocca!

The territory of Alta Rocca, with its 16 typical villages, is a mountainous region located in Southern Corsica.
Alta Rocca means “high rock” because the territory is delimited by three massifs: Ospédale, Bavella, Cuscione.

It’s the perfect place for a family picnic, where Corsican pines mingle with beech trees.

The needles of Bavella

This site is characterized by large, strikingly shaped rocky ramparts, ranging in color from the lightest red to the darkest gray, and Corsican pine trees.
The Col de Bavella is the starting point for numerous hikes for all levels. You’ll discover exceptional panoramas!

The cuscione plateau

In the Alta Rocca, you’ll discover some very typical villages.

PORTO-VECCHIO

Porto-Vecchio is renowned for its beautiful coastline and boasts two of the most beautiful beaches in Corsica. Indeed, its magnificent beaches, including those of Santa Giulia and Palombaggia, are listed by UNESCO as some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

The port of Porto-Vecchio, with its bars, ice cream parlors and restaurants, offers you a very pleasant setting for relaxation and conviviality.

The citadel, located in the heart of Porto-Vecchio, is a place steeped in history. Enjoy a stroll through the typical alleyways leading to the town’s shops and boutiques. In the evening, Porto-Vecchio becomes a lively place thanks to the trendy bars in the town center.

Every Sunday morning, the food market brings together many local producers who offer honey, olive oil, cheeses and charcuterie in a cheerful and colorful atmosphere.

BONIFACIO

Nicknamed “the city of cliffs,” the town of Bonifacio is located at the southernmost tip of the island. It is perched at an altitude of over 60 meters and is composed of compressed limestone strata.

The upper town offers exceptional views of the turquoise sea, with occasional glimpses of Sardinia in the distance.
It’s very pleasant to stroll through the narrow streets of the citadel…

You can also climb the 189 steps of the famous King of Aragon’s Staircase. At the bottom of the steps, you’ll be just a few meters above the sea on a path carved into the cliff, along crystal-clear waters. Unforgettable scenery!

From the port, boat tours allow you to admire the cliffs, sea caves, the Lavezzi Islands and the Cavallo Islands.
